Nestle Milk Compound Chocolate Bolero is a compound or âcompound coatingâ chocolate made from a combination of cocoa, vegetable fat and sweeteners. It is used as a lower-cost alternative to true chocolate, as it uses vegetable fats over cocoa butter. Compound Chocolates however do not need to be tempered. Instead, they are simply warmed between 3-5ÂșC.
