Wooden Dowels will provide you with strong support for your tiered cakes. Wooden Dowels are food safe and cost effective!
When constructing a tiered cake, it is absolutely necessary to have Wooden Dowel supports in place when stacking cakes. You can use either wood or plastic dowels for this purpose. Insert the dowels into the lower tiers of your cake to bear the weight of the tiers or decorations above. Trim each dowel to the level of your iced cake before placing the next tier or decoration on top.
